I run Delicious Library

It gets cover artwork and lets me obsess and get anal retentive about my media.

According to my library, I own
243 different DVD titles (multi sets count as one) and UMD movies
193 Books
45 video games

I love organizing things!

You never have too many to count, only an ineffective counting system.

Thanks to the link to delicious... I'll have a look since I love collecting things too.
Of course I wrote my own Lotus Notes/Domino database to catalog things for me... that way I can replicate it for disaster recovery and I can access it via the web, blackberry etc...
I've got, at this point in time; exactly 1,979 dvds, counting TV Season box sets as one but counting multi-film box sets as individual films.

Do I seem a little obsessive? I've also got my books catalogued (and covered in contact/plastic too) and I use the facebook apps for book, movie and computer game cataloging.

Yes, gbollard, you do seem obsessive!
But there's nothing wrong with it, I love to rearrange in different orders all of the time. Ever read High Fidelity, or see the movie? He was VERY OC with his record collection..

According to the Excel file I keep of all of them, currently 649. I've had the habit of purchasing 100 DVDs per year since I bought my first DVD player on my 17th birthday, but being unemployed for over a year and half has put me over 100 behind schedule. Damn it.

The two I "cherish" the most are the box sets for the El Hazard OAV and Band of Brothers. Maybe my box set for RahXephon, too.
