Hrmmm..this is pretty interesting (if you can ignore the fact the people can take offense to havine autism refered to as a mental illness)..lol.....I wonder what that might mean for someone like my dad (who i believe as having AS) and his sister who is Schizophrenic.

I've seen this before, and it is faulty. Schizophrenia (schizoid/schizotypal) are not opposites to Autism. Instead, the Schizotypal personality questionary (SPQ-A) was highly correlated with high Aspie scores when run in Aspie-quiz. It is easy to speculate in your own chamber without sufficient data. A long line of "mental disorders" are instead on the same spectrum as ASCs, being only opposites to NT. The reason these are disorders at all is because NTs have classified everything that they do no to do themselves as disordered.
