The only thing is this world that is free is misery.

Do you believe this statement to be true or false?

False... some free things:
-Sunlight
-Air
-Well water or rain water
-Wild Animals
-My time on WP
-Dreams
-Music on the radio
-Walking in the park or on the beach or elsewhere, usually
-Reading at a library, sometimes
-Wild berries and apples and stuff like that
-Talking on CB walkie talkies instead of a telephone
-Toys you make out of LEGO or something else like that
-Things you can fix when people just buy new ones
-A good friend if you find one

No, I don´t believe that there is anything for free

Till they build a tall building next to your house... them you have to pay to move to a better place.

-Air

In most of the cities air is polluted, they have to spend a lot of money to clean the air.
Quote:
-Well water or rain water

You have to pay your water bill. Water is going to become scarce in the next decades. Watch the new James Bond movie. Not to mention acid rain.
Quote:
-Wild Animals

Many becoming extinct due to the destruction of their natural habitats for comercial use.
Quote:
-Music on the radio

You have to listen to the comercials between one song and the another

Summing up: "There is no such a thing as a free lunch."

Misery impedes freedom.

Love is free.

Yeah yeah you could argue you have to spend money to maintain relationships, but true love is free.

Air is free. CLEAN air might not be free, but air is free.

Sunlight is also free. It might not be free at a particular place or at a particular time of day, but there is always some place on this earth that has free sunlight.

Rain is free. It might cost to gather the rain into large quantities, and it might cost to clean/filter that rain but if it's raining I can go outside, open my mouth, and accept it without paying a dime.

I would say false. There have been a lot of good answers to show things that are free posted so far in this forum. I would like to say that for me, I believe my creativity in writing is a gift that I value highly---and to me it was free. But one might argue that I had to pay for it by learning how to write in school. So free may not necessarily refer to money. But still, my imagination is something I have that is a gift to me---and my writing is one place that I use this imagination as an outlet. So I would say that creativity is free.

False. There are more things that are free. For example: Love, dreams, imagination, air, walking, etc.

Oh how misery is abundant. Just like being judged and meating a jerk hole is also in abundance. Hmm, alot of things Christians call sin or bondange seem in massive portion in our world huh. (if only food and water were this much yeah?)

Not sure how to vote, as everywhere I look, money is in something. It's in the air and rain, because of gasoline and other deadly chemicles going into our air and poisoning us all. In the drinking water, because companies make you pay to stay alive. Food.. Clothing.... freeway concrete... trucks and cars... (need I go on?)

Oh ok, I now choose "False", because misery causes us to buy chocolate, spend time alone with electricity, or what have you. :thumright:

it isnt free because people need to pay for internet or someone else pays for it,and if it wasnt for Alex and donators paying for WP,would not be able to make posts.

there are lots of good things that can be found free, check out places like studentfreestuff.com am got loads of rat stuff for free off there some years ago and also lots of cat stuff-like free bags of posh cat food or those scoop things for scooping out their biscuits.
sister gets a lot of free money off the site- yougov by answering official questionaires in her free time,
takes her a year to get the cheque because she doesnt do them all but still its free money isnt it.

Well,Napolean Hill says "you can't get anything without paying it's equivalent" so let's see true love. Well my relationship is wierd and is emotionally difficult for both of us. It's not monetary but how is it free?

Posts on WP: How about electricity and internet bills?

Whatever you can name, there's a price.
