I have no idea, but am curious.

Difficult to substantiate subjective events, but what the hell . . .

I'd like to hear what people have to say.

Sometimes, I do.

I dunno. Some of us are good at matching patterns. Maybe event patterns count, I dunno.

I don't believe in phychic stuff at all.
However, I do believe that a series of past events can help predict the most likely outcomes of future events.
I think of it as being a subconscious actuary. Taking in tons and tons of data to help predict what may happen. It has been posted elsewhere that perhaps people with Asperger's simply retain and make sense of that data more than "NTs". I guess that kinda makes sense.
While there may be infinite options available at any given juncture in time, we as humans tend to do predictable things; follow routines and comfortable patterns.
Thererfore, I think of precognition as simply being intuitive about what is most likely, nothing more.

There is some research to substantiate that Aspies seem to have a deeper sense of intuition than 'regular' people but many believe this is only because aspies 'see' more of their immediate environment than normal people and then string together bits and pieces of seemingly unrelated observations.
I think a similar thing might occur with respect to what is called precognition.
We have to remember that the regular people who write about this type of stuff only see and experience about half of what we encounter every day so in many ways they are handicapped with respect to what they can experience.

Precognition is a myth.

We may be more highly intuitive than NTs, but that's as far as it goes. And what I mean by 'intuitive' is that our unconscious minds may process sensory data more rapidly and more accurately that our conscious minds can, or than the minds of NTs can.

Like Sherlock Holmes type stuff, you think? If he didn't explain his observations, people would've thought he was psychic too.

I'm guessing no (I am, unfortunately, quite the skeptic) but there are probably things we have that some would classify as precognition. For example, my body is very sensitive, and I can predict storms based on subtle changes in barometric pressure.

Yea. I seem to. It seems to confuse people because they misread my body language as they have no idea that I have foreseen events and their behavior. It's strange huh?

Precognition is generally understood as the ability to know future events without the use of the seven physical senses. Your weather forecasting is based on data received through your tactile sensory system. Thus, you are not using precognition to predict the weather.

When my bursitis flares up in a certain way, I know that a thunderstorm is due within 12 hours. There's nothing precognitive about it.

I would assume the percentage who do is aproximately the same as in the "normal" population.

I think it's very possible that some Aspies have a stronger sense of intuition than NTs. I know I do. I think I may have developed it as a way of coping with the "not knowing what's going on socially" thing.

I Do! Does a little dance and whisks myself off.....in to the other place.

Mine is so obvious, people tell me I have it.

I also do alot of electric healing, have one person who felt it, beg me to visit after their operation. I am happy to help if I can.

It has become so strong lately, that 9 of 10 feel it pretty well. A few of those actually feel the electric tendrils. The 1 in 10, is simply to shut off from understanding it on a body level, that they don't feel it.

Later

I remember the day I noticed I could make big sparks of electricity
by rubbing my feet on the rug and touching things and people.
I felt really euphoric and powerful, like a super hero ELECTRIC MAN.

That describes much of my thought. I'm a systemizer. I absorb myself in systems. Quite nonverbal.
