Personally I have been listening to them a lot lately, I like them because they try to send a message out rather than all of these bs songs out there today.

listen to some of their songs:

i think that there songs are so confusing that its hard to get the message, but if u listen you can sometimes see messages in most of their songs. (at least for me lol)

Their 2001 album was one of the first albums I ever bought and I still think there's some great stuff on it. :D

Wow..."Clint Eastwood" brings back memories of getting high in my college dorm-room back in 2000 at CSU, Chico.

Good god...I suddenly feel old...

I have absolutely no idea! The Gorillaz lyrics are like solving the worlds hardest crossword...

Cryptic, Crossword, may I add...

I hate to be the one to do it, but I think that they are not that good.

When I was in High School I heard one guy off handedly comment that his favorite band was the Gorillaz to a couple of girls.

Some random as*hole jumped into the conversation with "Gorillaz? That music is for fags, man."

Without missing a damn beat, the first guy flawlessly retorted "Well, I guess that makes me a flaming homosexual then, doesn't it?" He gave the most level expression, staring into the as*holes eyes.

The as*hole walks away wordlessly, and the guy continues chatting up the girls.

It was the most astonishingly skillful defense I've ever witnessed, and it was done by some unassuming and seemingly unspectacular person.

After that, I looked up the Gorillaz and have been a fan of their music ever since.

Vaguely on-topic, I saw this news about Blur reforming (at least for a while) today - made me happy. Are many of you Gorillaz fans Blur fans too?

I am a Blur fan.

Flakey is a Gorrillaz fan...

I like the music, but have difficulty swallowing the concept.

I like Feel Good, Inc., but I haven't heard any other Gorillaz songs.
