My brother and I bought three golf clubs, twenty balls, a bag of tees, a full tank of petrol and set out to play a game we invented called 'Speed Golf'. It involves a par 12 field/paddock with various obstacles, alot of running, swining, missing, hitting, jumping back into cars and driving off at full speed, getting out again, hitting, driving, running, hitting, driving. Your final score is the number of strokes times the number of seconds taken to complete the course. My brother did it in under four minutes, I did it in five but we were both collapsing after the end of it.
What fun we had back in those glorious summers of now.
