What to do with hearing negative messages in mass-media?

I have been hearing on my radio, this one guy advertizing behaviral therapy, and on the Internet recently I heard talk of creating a downloadable bionic brain. How does one develop a coping mechicism to wether such destructive messages about spectrum related issues? Please let know!

To hell with the media. Read books and listen to your mp3 player.

Um...books and music are "media".


If that guy's on the radio, call in to his show and refute his points.
