Dance Revolution
After much insistence from my friends, today I finally agreed to join them and go to play Dance Revolution. Surprisingly, I found it ridiculously easy. I guess it may have had something to do with the fact that I'm a trained typist with some tile-floor OCD leanings, but I found the routines relatively simple.
It was the first time I played this, and honestly I don't believe one word of what my friends said. According to them, I exhibited a natural talent for the game that they would have never expected from me. But I a) found the songs too simple to merit such praise and b) only got to try 3-foot songs, which according to what I've just read aren't really that difficult.
However, I must admit that at some point I felt an eerie, focused state of calm concentration while my feet were in autopilot. My mind was in a trance (no pun intended). Would you say that the instinctive ability to follow logical patterns is attributable to AS?
I actually play Dance Dance Revolution or DDR for short. I'm decent at it because I have good foot-eye coordination after trying it a bit to be honest. The answer to your question is that anyone has the instinctive ability to follow logical patterns because there are people out there who just have a great memory that they remember how to play the game basically.
