Well how will we pronounce the year when it comes? "two thousand (and) ten" or "twenty ten"?

I don't know anyone who says "twenty oh eight" or "twenty oh nine" . everyone I know says "two thousand nine".

However, I personally will use "twenty ten", "twenty eleven", etc. when those years come up.

I'd have to go with Twenty Ten.

Two thousand ten.

Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I've never heard anybody in my whole life saying 'twenty' something. Or nineteen something for that matter. (Eh, okay, the English speakers did... oh well.)

two thousand and ten. If it was just a regular number, you wouldn't say twenty ten would you? you count like this:one, two, three..two thousand and one, two thousand and two...
not twenty ah two.... :P

By that logic, of course, you would have had Prince singing (or attempting to sing):

So tonight we're gonna party like it's one thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine...

Personally, I will say two thousand and ten. For some reason, twenty-ten sounds like an eyesight reading---20/10 vision.
