I played with toy guns, too. I used to make weapons, when I was a child (bow and arrow, spears.) I am a hunter aspie.

We have seen family photos like this before, LLP. The young boy in the top photo grew up to become a homicide bomber.

There are pictures of kids firing guns from all over the world. I see nothing shocking or unusual about the fact that Jewish kids do it as well, except in so far that its a terrible shame that kids have to train to use guns for war at all.

Hamas rockets have slogans on them. Why wouldn't Israeli shells have the same?

You DO know that US soldiers wrote condescending messages on bombs destined for the Taliban? The custom is pretty much universal-where do you think a saying "there's a bullet with your name on it" came from? I bet that Hamas has kids writing messages on Qassam rockets. Human beings love to kill each other, and Jews are no different. It's kinda amusing how people degrade Jews for not being superhuman just because they say God likes them. Every other tribe says the same thing.

I say that there is no God, therefore this nonexistent sky fairy doesn't know love or hate or any other emotion, therefore Jews just believe in a silly myth, like backwoods rednecks in the US believe in their silly myth. For some reason, humans want to slaughter each other over silly myths, and even worse they want to drag those of us who say that's a silly myth and you're a moron into the killing spree. If you want to die for a sky pixie fine, but don't make me die for your sky pixie. I have things that I would die for. Fairies are not on the list. Sorry.

Writing things on shells is a moral thing, more than anything else. It rarely works as a direct insult because there's not all that much left afterwards. Its pretty insulting just being shot at. The fact that the shot might have "you are a w*ker" on it is secondary.

Congratulations, you have demonstrated that both sides are wrong and contain more than their fair share of abominable monsters. I don't really give a damn anymore who's right or wrong, who started it, or any of the rest. It's a mess, and both sides have plenty to answer for.

Kidding...but seriously both those sides have already showed their true colors including the people of Israel. I doubt there will ever be a peace treaty between those 2 unless they get rid of this notion about who's people are more holier crap but I doubt that'll ever happen. I have to agree with Orwell on this.

I think this is one of very few conflicts where it is irrational and/or immoral to take any side whatsoever (not being part of the conflict). I try to keep up with it and form an opinion but it's been impossible for me to make preference and I don't think it ever will.

I think it might be another case in the Netherlands. I don't think we are talking here about ''western media'', I think we're taking about ''US media''. I think it's worse in the US, I can imagine that the reports are more opinion-colored than in the Netherlands. That's a bad thing of course. Reports should be as complete and objective as possible.

Most Western media reports contain images of Palestinian children sobbing their eyes out because they have lost relatives or Palestinian parents holding their dead children in their arms. Where are the pictures of the Jewish people? And don't say they don't exist. Palestinians bomb Israel, Israelis bomb the Palestinians - each is retaliating against the other, yet it's always Israel's fault. Always.

Is it me or is there some Fatah fottage in there? I mean, how likely is it for Hamas to be holding a picture of Arafat these days?
