I usually say the same thing someone said, but I say over in different accents.

I am unsure if this is echolalia, but if someone uses an expression I do not understand, I immediately say it back to them questioningly. Is this some form of echolalia?

I use phrases from movies and TV all the time. Aspies aren't the only ones that do this, though they do it more than most.

Is Echolalia always symptomatic of another disorder? And what's the difference between echolalia and Just repeating something you found funny?

I certainly show some symptoms.

I might have as a kid (my parents can't remember) but I know in my head I tend to repeat the same thing someone else says to me.. if there is a reason for me to do it, so in a sense, yes I do.. but it's silent.

I voted no. Sometimes I'll repeat words in a sentence but it's not often.

I had it when I was young, many thousands of years ago. How ancient! I would repeat what I just heard, that was about all the talking I did when I was young. Other than that, it would be 1-2 word "sentences."
I don't have it anymore though.

Am I the only one that doesn't/didn't know what the word means? :P

Echolalia is the repetition of vocalizations made by another person.
