I like most of them! But there are so many...

My favourite are mostly from Greek or Japanese myths.

I've always liked griffins, because I read a book when I was very young - about six - that had griffins in it, acting in their usual role of hero's taxi and it caught my imagination.

Dragons period all the way but I like the "European" so to speak better. I also like pegasi and unicorns too.

Oh geez... wow. I can't choose. So many to like. Giant reptiles of many varieties (dragons and hydras, oh my!), along with phoenixes and kitsune and since they count fairy folk... I'll just hit 'other'.

I like gorgons. They have snakes for hair, and can turn people to stone with a glance.

I tend to like more of the oriental mythic creatures, they're usually not as malignant and monstrous as their european cousins. In the poll I voted oriental dragons. Of course kitsune are a favorite, as are tengu, Kirin/Pegasus, griffin, fairies/elves/pixies/brownies, draugr, were-creatures and vampires. I also like the more benevolent version of Trolls.

I think all mythical archetypes are the most amazing expression of what it is to be Human. I love them all. Maybe Dragons and fairies the most,
