Yeah but what can you do when you go such large organizations like Autism Speaks and DAN spreading lies about autism and everyone believes them??? Anyways this is another reason why we must not sit on our butts and do nothing, because to do so is to let more people fall victim to the lies and manipulation.

am dont see a problem with the wording there-they are talking about a residential center-such services are for heavy support and are designed for people who are lower functioning or severely affected by their ID/DD/ASD,they're not saying everyone with mr/autism/as is LF,they are only talking about the residents on that page.
am have not read any other pages other than that one though so dont know what rest is like.

thanks to budget cuts, low ad revenue, and the ubiquitous 24/7 news cycle of the Internet, i think in-depth stories with a lot of research are on the way out.

There is no conclusive evidence that any kind of autism is linked to mental retardation. Unfortunatly for those who are non verbal its difficult for them to speak out for themselves.
