Psalm 69 was a near miss from my list. Have to admit to never really getting into Filth Pig though, apart from 'The Fall'.

As far as im concerned Filth Pig is their definitive album. I know alot of pundits reckon they are past it since Dark side of the spoon but to me animositisomnia and house of the mole have been very strong releases and god damn they are fab to watch live (not at outside venues though) even if Barker has long gone and I guess thats why im most definatily going to see them at their only uk gig this year.

So that'l be 6 times to notch on the gig list

Iron Maiden: Somewhere in Time

Nile: In Their Darkened Shrines

Opeth: Still Life

Death: Symbolic

Finntroll: Nattfod

I guess I'll be seeing you there then!

I'll be seeing them a few weeks later here:

http://www.meraluna.de

But they'll be on an outside stage, which I agree is no place to watch them.

I really like the album Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson. Her songs talk about things that I'm going through in my life, even though the context is different. For instance, I interpret the song "Breakaway" as needing to break away from living with my parents and get my own apartment. Like she says, "Gotta take a risk, take a chance, make a change / And break away".

By the way, this is the only place where I publicly admitted that I like Kelly Clarkson.

There have got to be tens, if not hundreds, I haven't mentioned. But for the sake of brevity (limiting the list to 10), these are the ones that have meant the most to me in some way.

In no particular order:

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Supertramp - Even in the Quietest Moments
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Robin Trower - Live!
The Who - Quadropenia
Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting
Ween - Chocolate and Cheese
10,000 Maniacs - Our Time in Eden
Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks

Oh dear, don't make me choose! Ok, well I'll try.. it changes all the time though, depending on how I'm feeling.. this includes a few live albums and 'greatest hits' compilations.

1. Live After Death - Iron Maiden
2. Appetite for Destruction - Guns 'N' Roses
3. Contraband - Velvet Revolver
4. Living After Midnight - Judas Priest
5. Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
6. The Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
7. Master of Puppets - Metallica
8. Nevermind - Nirvana
9. Valley of the Damned - Dragonforce
10. O' Yeah Ultimate Aerosmith Hits - Aerosmith

As I say, subject to change. And there are loads more great albums.. 10 spaces isn't enough..

It's hard to list only ten, but I'll give it a shot.

In no particular order:

In the Woods... : Strange in Stereo (but really, all In the Woods... albums are aewsome, all for different reasons)
Firewater : Get off the Cross, We Need the Wood for the Fire (same deal, all Firewater albums are excellent, so you really can't pick just one)
Gogol Bordello : Multi Kontra Culti v.s. Irony (I couldn't listen to anything else for a month)
Red Sparrowes : At the Soundless Dawn
Isis : Panopticon
As Divine Grace : Lumo
Dark Tranquility : Skydancer/Of Chaos and Eternal Night
The Legendary Pink Dots : Hallway of the Gods
Esoteric : Metamorphogenesis
Pink Floyd : Meddle
