One of my female friends said the American actor Will Ferrell, was "drop dead gorgeous and hot."

Do any women here have that same view on the actor?

I don't think that's a very common opinion.

I suppose I could be wrong, though.

I guess some women might like the fact he is tall though. The guys 6ft3.

I'm an NT, so not sure if I should be answering, but I agree with the above answer-- he isn't generally regarded as "gorgeous." His sense of humor however, may be the trait that makes your friend think he is attractive.

I think I can respond with confidence that your friend is very much in the minority.

Will Ferrell makes me laugh. He was rather sweet kissing the girl in Elf (her name slipped my mind). He does not qualify as hot or drop-dead gorgeous.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Will Farrell may seem gorgeous and hot to a woman who likes tall funny looking guys.

I think that because he is a comedian, the way he contorts his face kind of shows and makes him look more funny looking. If he were a serious person, I guess he would be seen as more conventionally handsome but with maybe eyes set-too close together..

I think that my good friend is really beautiful in an exotic sort of way, and he is bald and skinny with funny teeth, and I have gotten teased for it behind my back...But I don't see how anyone could look at him and not notice how attractive he is...graceful build... high cheekbones...big hazel eyes...whats not to like?

Just googled him. I am personally not attracted to him.. each to their own.

Not only do I not find him attractive, I don't even like his movies.

I have to agree with zghost on that one. I don´t think he´s "hot", nor do I find him particularly funny. He tends to overact, so the acting doesn´t look genuine. Comedy should be exaggerated, but it also has to appear real. No- he just doesn´t do it for me.

I agree with poopylungstuffing, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Different people are attracted to different things.

That being said, I think I have a decent idea of what is considered 'attractive' by the general majority (even if I don't agree with it). And Will Ferrel is not it. Your friend must like something in him that is not commonly viewed as important or attractive by most people. That doesn't make her wrong, though!!
