In terms of presentations and anything like it I'd prefer a large group. I really mess up on eye contact when it's one person.
When it's talking to someone in a general conversation, one-to-one on certain subjects, most I PROBABLY prefer a group now that I come to think of it. If I say something stupid not that many people will notice.
When working and it's either a group or one person, I'd prefer one person I know well, if I don't know them well then partners, but I tend to just ask if I can work on my own. For most things I can.
