I cant do something with a computer game

Im trying to make a sim in Sims 2 with a body shop thing but I have to do something. It says within each skin tone are textures for each age group gender and fitness level. To completely manipulate a skin tone you must alter every file in the project folder. What does it mean? I asked someone to help but he wont believe me when I tell him it cant be in the game.

i used to have that game but it was so hard for me to figure out

Visit the sims 2 modding community and check their forums they would be more likely to answer your question. Plus alot of them add skins etc for you to download and add to the game.

It is quite complicated to customise. Same with Sim City 4
