I'm talking about completely getting rid of names and replacing them with numbers, so like when a baby is born they would have a number on their birth certificate and people would use the number to address people.

a swedish mother tried to name her kid some impossible string of numbers. swedish law prevented it tho.
once your an adult, you can change your name to absolutely anything, at least here, but im imagining it goes for most western nations.
a guy i know changed his middle name to "Robot" and a norwegian celebrity changed his sirname to "Vaersegodtakkskalduha" which means "hereyougothankyouverymuch"
im pretty sure numbers would be accepted

If you ever rule the world, DeLorean, please don't give us numbers. I'm horrible with numbers, but I'm great with names.

If I ever get called a number I'd like to be called 8. Can't imagine what you'd call someone if they were 183332347348734324t6346434308 though.

I honestly don't see the point in this, people complain about being known as the number. I definitely don't like the idea,
