Q- are you facing a major problem with your goal :

Q- goal in life :
to become a therapist and go out of this life (sometime FAR from now) having done more good than harm in this world and having touched a few lives (I know I can't change the world but I can hope to at least help some people)

Q- does anybody know what your goal is :
pretty much everyone in my life knows.

Q- are you facing a major problem with your goal :
Nope! I hope I have all my marbles by the time I leave grad school, of course, but I'm getting better even now.

I used to want to "be a writer" but there's not enough job security, and I casn write no matter what else I'm doing. I lvoe psychology. It won't just be a second choice or just a job. It's a calling.

Goals - teach my granddaughters to skate, die before Alzenheimers sets in

Keeps me going - sound of my granddaughter's voices on the phone (they live far away), faint hope I might set foot on the soccer pitch again, reading great poetry

Current goal: to become a successful researcher, to live as stress-free as possible, to be content with my life as it goes along and at the end of it be even more content with what I've made of it.

To also enjoy my art and poetry, wherever they lead if anywhere. To have difficult times (as life is predictable in this) but have it in me to make the most out of what life throws.

And to always have animals around me (friendly animals that is, hehe).

I would love to plagerize Sophist... :) who has it seems the same career goals I have.

Goal in life: To be successful after I retire from the military. To do the best job that I am able to do as a parent.

Does anyone know your goals? Well whoever is reading this post I suppose.

What keeps me going? Just knowing that times won't always be bad, my kids smiles, quiet time alone.

I only have a short-term goal that's in stone:

Q- goal in life :
To get a Dodge Challenger, the concept one.

Q- does anybody know what your goal is :
Yup.

Q- are you facing a major problem with your goal :
Only if I fail my classes, meaning I'll have to pay for them, or if the car doesn't come out. Or if it's too expensive.

Q: Goal in Life
My goals in life that are on a equal priority are. Get a decent paying job that i can easily pay my bills and be able to buy a few extra things now and then. Get wife that i get on with and can comunicate well with. Get over my social Anxiety the hard way(with out drugs or any kind of help).

Q: Does any one know?
Any one reading this post will know. Out side of this I don't really know and people in real life so no.

Q: Am I facing any major Problems with my goals.
Yes. I suck at talking to strangers. My social anxiety effects my abity to talk to girls and to find a job or do alot of things. This world is not really ment for people with social communication difficultys.

Goals:

Change frequently- I college I wanted to be a successful, nay, groundbreaking researcher in biopsych. Um, over the last 10 years I've had to reduce these goals little by little. Two years ago I was shooting for a steady job. Currently I'm hoping to lead a simple, quiet, relatively happy life. If it's simple and not too stressful, mrs hermit might be nice.

Do people know these goals:

Well, let's say my parents are having a hard time with my new goal of actually becoming a hermit.

Problems with goals:

Well, yes, I suppose. Lots. The only thing I've got going for me at the moment is it's quiet. Simple I see coming with time, as I eventually figure out a way to get by. A true hermit needs no one, and I'm cursed with desire for human contact, despite not being able to take it.... aahhh life's catch-22...

Goal: To succeed at life. AKA having the big bucks so that I don't seem like a loser. This may possibly include having a female companion that is bound to me by traditional ceremonies and a ring. This may also include having foul little creatures that were spawned by actions between myself and the female companion. AKA I might want a wife and children.

People who know: I dunno. I am sort of open about the money one and the idea of having children is prevalent in our culture and might simply be assumed.

Problems with goals: Well, getting rich is never easy. In fact, I would say that it is rather hard, especially given my lack of common sense and charisma. Also, getting the female companion might be difficult too. Female companions do not like being referred to as female companions and mating rituals is not considered the happy, friendly term for getting these female companions. Seriously, my lack of charm and my lack of sense with women might pose a problem.
