What ways do you show that you simply don't care?

I am intrigued to know the various methods of showing that one does, simply not care about what another is doing/telling/watching. I shall list some of my ways:
If someone is listening to something I don't care about at some other device that happens to be in the area (I.E) Youtube video, and you are at the TV):
Turn up volume to drown out annoyance. Verily so.
...uh, yeah. That seems to be all on that. So? What ways do you show?

I would ignore words and actions; and if pressed, simply state "I don't care."

I have been known to do the old: put hands over ears and go: LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!! !! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! Its actually calming because I have an auditory disorder.

Mostly with my husband and daughter - but sometimes my mom, too. I know its childish...
