what is this?
Edit: I feel stupid even having posted this here. No one understands me anywhere, I can't even fit in with other people with AS. ![]()

This is overwhelming sadness and suffering.
Write a poem
Go outside and look at cloud formations
Wake up early in the morning and look at cloud formations
Watch the sunrise before you set off to look at cloud formations
Watch birds fly one way, turn around, perch, fly out again, come around, perch
Lay (lie?) on (in?) the grass
Go find some woods
Talk to the trees
read a book outside
Tell your wife you love her
Give her a kiss on her cheek, then her tummy.
Tickle her. Do it.
Meditate
DECLARE PEACE
Take pictures
Your DPS is now 110.PWN
That was only two people answering. WP has been quiet dead recently, so I would give a shot and try letting the post be here for a couple of weeks.
There is ALWAYS someone who understands, maybe not here, but there will always be.
So I'd say give it a shot, and repost, see for someone as me, I don't even know what the question was..
I wish that I could've seen what you posted, Sbcmetroguy. It's not true that no one can relate to you, as I relate almost all of your posts. I'm beginning to think that you're like the male version of me. I guess that I don't always have the time to post what i think, but I do read what you have to say, and identify with it.
You're all so truly kind, which is what I needed most yesterday. Today's not so bad, but yesterday was tremendously trying for me. I can't even remember all of what I posted, and it's not the lack of responses but the simple fact that I just felt REALLY stupid after I posted it. I'm sure some of you can understand that, we all have those moments (I hope!)
I started feeling a little better last night as I began to sell off all my photography equipment. It was kind of bittersweet, because on one hand photography isn't a passion of mine anymore (those dreaded AS special interests that wax and wane), but on the other hand it was just hard to let it go. I didn't want to do it, but I am desperate for $3,000-$4,000 right now so I had to do it. I'm a bit of a "keeper" in that I don't want to get rid of anything I am fond of, even if I don't like it anymore.
Yesterday overall was just a depressing day. I had suicidal thoughts (though I would never actually do that) and just wasn't feeling good at all. I went off on a lot of really nice people, mostly online, and felt bad so I posted about it here.
Anyway, thanks again for being so kind. That is why I feel comfortable here, and even though I said above I didn't feel like I could even fit in here, I really do ... I was just feeling REALLY down.

Oh yeah, I have had those moments too.
Both the ones where you feel stupid about posting here, and also suicidal thoughts.
But I came over the suicidal thoughts I had. (Worst when I went to school)... And now it's a couple of years since I had any, and I hope it stays that way!
If you were aggresive in your post, you are probably going best on deleting them...
I could NEVER dream of selling any of my stuff, even though I don't use it anymore. I know that if I do, only a couple of days later I will need it again
I've been trashing a couple of things thoughout the time, but it's still hard, and there are times where I regret it.
But hey, if you sell your used stuff, you can get money for new interests.

Hey I can relate to this. I had such a day the other day when I just posted something that made me feel sooooooo stupid afterwards, making me feel the whole forum cosidered me as a a true freak. But when comming to sense its just the feeling within ourselves. And we do have our fragile moments indeed.
And I know how it can feel to say goodbye to some old special interest. I just recently put four years of intense activity in two boxes far away from me...

No, not aggressive at all. In fact, quite the opposite. After I'd been very mean to my wife and people in World of Warcraft and another online forum, I actually felt like this was the only place I could go to talk about it. So no, I was more whining than anything, definitely not being aggressive. I just deleted it because I felt stupid for whining.
As for the suicidal thoughts, I hadn't had any in a while until recently, but when they hit they just hit and it's hard to put such thoughts out of your head once they're in there.
On getting rid of stuff, you see, that is exactly how I feel. So it really bothered me to have to do it, but once I saw the money rolling in (I'd made $400 in a very short period of time off old equipment) I felt much better. I should surpass the $1,000 mark today, in less than 24 hours from the time I posted it all for sale. The only thing is, this money is for my air units in my house which are toast.
Thanks for your posts!

That's a big ass camera
I feel like you by the way, lonely, depressed, and like I have not learned the words to expess myself.

Some of the threads I started are really long - yeay!
This is EXACTLY what I was talking about, thanks for understanding.
No one has ever told me something like this before, one one hand I'm flattered that you see a bit of yourself in me but on the other hand I feel sorry for you if you do. I feel soooo empty and misunderstood some days.
Thank you!

I'm glad that you're having a better day today.
Of course, I haven't read ALL of your posts, but the ones that I've read are usually exactly what I would've posted, only you beat me to it. I guess, I could add a "me too" post to a thread, but I seldom do.
I had one of those really bad weekends, myself where I felt totally misunderstood. It happens from time to time, but usually I'm able to get over it fairly quickly. This wasn't one of those times, as my husband saw fit to keep pushing all of my buttons until I was in full meltdown mode. I wouldn't really classify this sort of emotional state as empty. To me it's actually the opposite. I'm full of all kinds of strong emotions. It's just that I can't quite figure out what they are, where they came from, or much less what to do about it.
