I hate all the sticky threads at the top of every forum!!

There's just too many!! Does this bother any one else or is it just me?

I dont think you hate them. You are just annoyed and pissed off on them.
Hate is a strong word. It would be more understanding if you hate the guy who killed your mother kinda...

I'm not keen on all those stickies. They clutter up some forums very badly. Granted, some are useful for reference but some forums seem way over the top. It gets tedious scrolling down to the posts after opening each forum.

But, xalepax, the sticky threads did kill my mother!

@ TallyMan - yeah I did. I thought a stock photo would help me blend in and not be noticed anymore but it didn't really work so I figured I might as well be myself

I think we should have a sticky for animals, and then one for sci fi fans, and then one for anime fans, and then one for members who'd like to share their own stories.

I recall some time back, many of the stickys were removed because of a complaint. Some of them returned because members requested, and some new ones have formed since...but yeah, fewer stickys now than when I joined...I think.

I think it would make more sense if the stickys were stuck to the bottom of the first page. There they would be handy for reference but not in your face every time you opened a forum. I guess this is unlikely to happen though for technical limitations.

it would make even more sense if the search worked as it should. then we wouldn't need the stickys.
