Talk about your past lives.
Post about any past lives you remember.
Who you were , what you did, how you have evolved since then.
I'll go first.
I've done many years of past life meditation. And with the help of some unlikely sources I have manged to remember quite a few of my past lives.
I will post the only past life I know of where I am mentioned in history. I know its is statistically improbable to have a past life anywhere in history books. but I do have a small and slightly unpleasant mention.
I was George Sand.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Sand
I think it is funny that the person I was back then is the type of personality I hate the most.
It just goes to show how much a soul can evolve over the lifetimes.
I did retain some traits, I still go against the social norms. And I am stubborn as anything.
You're the third person I've known who claims to have been George Sand.
Those who believe in reincarnation always claim to be someone famous - never a Mississippi sharecropper living in a shotgun shack, never a harijan living in the slums of Mumbai, and never a quom driving a honeycart in Japan.
Those who claim to have lived before never offer any material proof to support their claims, either.

really !
Well I had no clue who she was before I got my vision.
this beliefe on, that you were George Sand.
Is there one spesific thing that makes you
belive this or is it several things tangled
together?
Well I was listing to music on you tube and i heard this song and i got a vision.
I was in the back of a stage in a theater and there were deep red curtains hanging beside me.
I was watching a man play and he seemed famous, I remember feeling like a school girl who is trying to ask a famous person for their autograph but also trying to act like cool and chilled out.
The man was playing on the piano and he knew i was watching he turned around and looked at me and continued to play even though he wasn't looking at what he was playing.
I remember thinking he was acting big headed and egotistical but I didn't care. All I cared about was that he noticed me.
he motioned with his head for me to come sit beside him and we talked as he played.
That's when the vision started to fade.
After that I started looking all over the internet hoping to find something and I did.
I found a painting of the very same thing I saw in my vision and that's when I found out who I was.
I remember many other past lives but non of them were mentioned in history books.
I can tell you more of them but I wont debate.
No offense to anyone .

Really!
And the other two are still alive.
So which of you are lying?
Well I don't know. But I am curious about there stories.
I know I'm not lying but for the benefit of the doubt I could possibly be mistaken.
I did get an accurate vision and I did see sands. But it is possible that I got a vision of sands and thought it was myself.
But since I feel such a connection to that life I have come to the conclusion that it was me.
Don't get me wrong I would be relieved if it was not me.
I don't like who I was back then and would be very relived if it was not me.
Could you ask your friends to post there accounts here. I would like to make sure I am not mistaken about my past life identity.
I believe what I say is right but I try to keep an open mind. That means making sure I was not mistaken.
Thanks!
Most people I have seen with past lives claim to be ordinary labourers or bakers or such. Many cases have been researched and proved to be true.

Their stories parallel yours, in that they came to the same conclusion through self-revelation, and not by independent means - no one told them who they were in past lives.
When I was active in the New Age movement, I allowed about a half-dozen people to "read" me and tell me who I was in my most recent life. They were:
- A British aristocrat who died on the Titanic.
- A Chinese courtesan to the Imperial house who was assassinated when the communists took over.
- An inventor who committed suicide after Edison stole his patents.
- One of the Romanov children - not Anastasia, and not little Nicholas - who also died when the communists took over.
- A senior Navigator/Engineer on a needleship somewhere in orbit between Jupiter and Saturn.
- One of the workmen who died in the fire at the Chicago World's fair.
Now, I could not have been all of those people in my most recent life, even though each "psychic" swore that his or her information was accurate.
Which was lying? They all were. While the concept of reincarnation is the root of many fascinating stories, there is no real, valid evidence to support it as fact.
Well, the first I remember I was a Zeta-Reticulian commander, who, *totally just following orders*, caused the Permian Extinction event. Coulda happened to anyone, y'know? Well, that didn't go over so well, I spent the next 250 million years working off some bad karma as a sow bug. Well, I wasn't so much a bad sow bug as a very mediocre one, but 250 million years of mediocrity apparently didn't fly with the power that be (I maintain that I was making excellent progress and was, quite possibly, very good at being a sow bug if nothing else. The assertion that I was wasting eons doing nothing but wallowing in decay and filth takes my lives totally out of context and, I dare say, was more than a little unfair.).
So then they decided to make me a euglena. You really can't go much further down than a euglena, but I was curious. So next thing I know I'm the 1918 flu (we won't say how I managed that). Now, I reason, bad and good are relative, and what's good for a flu must be different - even at odds with - good for other animals (you can tell here I momentarily forgot the whole sow bug episode). So I got together with some friends and bagged some guy named Max Weber. Well, the powers that be weren't thrilled, but they had to admit I had a cunning argument. So they decided to have me reborn as a series of babies that died within their first month as a way to work off my bad karma.
Anyway, the late 20th century comes around, and I reason that being a dead baby is no way to spend eternity. The powers that be of course are modern gentlemen, and completely open to the suggestion of buying my humanity on adjustable rate karmic installment, the baby scheme still having a ways to go till completion.
We're getting pretty close to defaulting on that one. The powers that be could go all re-po style on my ass, but then they get nothin', so we're in a kind of awkward truce for the time being.
Frankly I'm not even convinced it's even coherent.

my advice to you,
Don't get hung up on listening to your spirit guides. If you cant find then or hear them then just do it yourself. They will show themselves when your ready.
You may be thinking your guide will be a certain type of being, or guide you in a certain way.
Guides come in all shapes and sizes.
Your guide could be a rock and you could walk right past it because you were looking for a person to guide you.
You may not even have a guide. I didn't even know I needed a guide when I started meditating.
I will tell you how I got my first vision of my past life.
I was sitting under an oak tree that my swing was on and i suddenly got a vision.
I was in a long gown and had long black hair flowing in the wind. I was singing a song so beautifully but in a way I have never heard before.
I was standing in the forest and it was just mesmerizing. I can begin to describe the sounds of my voice, it was so cool.
I got that vision from the oak tree. I know it sounds odd but the oak tree was my guide. That oak tree helped me get my visions until I could get them on my own.
It was my mentor in a way.
So what you need to do is close your eyes and relax clear your mind. Then think about past lives let your thoughts be open to receiving any memories of your past lives. If things enter your mind, let them and follow where ever they take you.
Don't day dream , the point is to be open to receiving memories . If your thoughts are busy thinking about something else your memories will not surface.
I know its hard. It took me years to remember anything.
That dose not mean it will take you years though.
Keep trying perhaps you'll catch on quicker then I did.

Wow really ! I never remember being a flu but it sounds so interesting!
Can you explain how it felt and such?
What were you motivated by? what were your ambitions in life?

You need to look into it yourself. There are people in this world who will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get paid.
Please don't discount it until you look into it yourself. It takes awhile but you will remember your past lives if you want.
For the record it is never a good idea to have other people "read" your past lives. Unless you know and trust them.
You could be opening yourself up to a psychic attack as well.

I did a ouija board once and apparently something/one 'came through' that said they knew me
the name was more or less just a jumble of letters but it had some form to it as I remember
they said they were a designer of the pyramids on Giza plateau.
I asked why they could speak the English language and the reply was because 'you do'
*shrugs*
I don't know if I believe in Ouija boards at all anyway - I just did it because they people I knew then were really into that kind of thing and I thought sure, let's see how that works then
2 cents not exactly a past life per se but if it were true I guess I would have to have been alive before lol
just thought I'd share because of thread title, don't assume I believe that it's true though, please
