Yippee! The odometer in my car hit 200,000 kilometres.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne ?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stoup !
And surely I’ll be mine !
And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes,
and pou’d the gowans fine ;
But we’ve wander’d mony a weary fit,
sin’ auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl’d in the burn,
frae morning sun till dine ;
But seas between us braid hae roar’d
sin’ auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And there’s a hand my trusty fiere !
And gies a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll tak a right gude-willie waught,
for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

I think my car needs a wash though. It's getting on in years and the layers of dirt are starting to build up. I'm going to pray for a thunderstorm.

the day after I posted that, I had to do a fair amount of driving and could feel the steering wheel shuddering. I though it was my CV joint about to snap or something, as they've been on the brink for a while. In fact, it was my front right wheel which was previously a spare, as it had a big air bubble in it causing it to warp. I had to buy a new tyre and I patched up the old front right tyre that had blown (which I suspect was foul play). I have to get my CV joints replaced soon any how, I booked it in for Friday but it's very expensive.

The duct tape just isn't holding her together any more... (sigh)...
