I have an interview for an internship in Austin, and I am a bit nervous about it, but I will give it my best shot. I kinda have an idea of what questions would be asked.

GIS analyst. It's only for the summer, but I would be getting course credit for it. I have 5 years experience, and I like what I do.

Best of luck, when you go into the interview be yourself and THINK before you answer any question.

I feel that the interview went well, but I won't know anything for at least a couple of weeks.

I also found a good, fast alternate route to downtown Austin, that doesn't have me on I-35 all the way up there.

I'll tell you what, Congress Street just south of downtown is very scenic.

I should hear from the General Land Office later this week or next week.

Meanwhile, I have another interview with a utility company in New Braunfels (just south of San Marcos) on Friday.

I had two interviews on Friday, and I think I've mastered the whole interview process.

I should hear from them later in the week.

Yeah--that neighborhood is called "SoCo" by the hipsters who live there. Good luck with your internship!

Good for you. The trick is to not overcomplicate/overthink the interview - it is an interview for a job, not a life and death sentence hearing :D

I didn't get the one in Austin, but I am still waiting to hear from the other two.

One is in New Braunfels (the town just south of me that is kicking San Marcos' a** in the restaurant wars), and the other is in San Antonio.

I had three interviews, and I didn't get any of the internships I interviewed for, even though I aced the interview, and have almost five years of experience.

Interviews suck. I would always get them but never get the job. I did work for almost 9 years at the same place until the facility closed last March. Still getting UC but should be getting Social Security Disability sonn (besides AS I also have severe depression and multiple physical problems.)
