Today, I registered for classes for the last time as an undergraduate.

In the fall, I will be taking:

Community and Regional Planning
Geography of Texas
Physical Geography Lab (I took the lecture portion at a community college--this is just to clear up a discrepancy between the number of semester hours between the community college and my current university)
Soil Science

Also, If I opt for the federal work-study, then the fall semester is completely free. If not, it will only cost $1,500, and my parents would take care of that.

Total college debt: $5,500

I registered yesterday.

I'm taking: Immunobiology
Organic Chemistry with lab
History of Germany from 1815 to the present
Marching Band (pays for my books)
Trombone choir
Abstract Algebra (a graduate-level math course)
My friends might be able to convince me to take a Classics course with them, on Greek and Roman mythology.

My tuition is covered by scholarships and my books by the marching band. I'm taking out loans to cover the cost of housing, and my parents are paying basically the cost of my meal plan.

I just registered too. In the summer semester I'm taking Trig because I haven't gotten the best grasp on it so far this semester in precalc. I'm also going to take CIS 120, which is just an intro to microcomputers that I plan on acing because it'll be easy for me since I am fairly obsessed with computers.

In the fall I'm taking Calc I, speech 101 (online), Philosophy 105 (Logic) and Humanities. I might register for another online class but I'm not sure yet. I get fairly overwhelmed with school.

I still have a lot more of my undergrad to do. I didn't start until I was 26 and I'm 28 now.

I done my registering for classes for the Fall plus I'm a summer course since I only have 32 credits left to do anyway. I'm pretty much graduating on time as I planned.

They call that graduate level!? I do it as an undergraduate and its not even final year stuff...

As for next year myself I have no idea what I am doing yet.

Um... they may call it a different thing at your school. This semester I'm doing intro to abstract math, which emphasizes algebra. That may be the equivalent of your undergrad course. But yes, I am taking it as an undergrad, I mean, I'm only a sophomore as of next fall. I meant "graduate-level" as in "500-level."

Here's the basic course description:
MTH 561: Abstract Algebra I, 3 credits.
Fall Semester
Groups, rings; linear algebra; modules.

Which isn't terribly informative.

And I did sign up for the Classics course this afternoon, much to the chagrin of one friend who is not high up in registration priority- there's only four spots left in the class now.

But yes, I am taking it as an undergrad, I mean, I'm only a sophomore as of next fall. I meant "graduate-level" as in "500-level."

Seems about as difficult as the course that I am finishing off this year (and is by far the nastiest of my modules, few dare to take it). The difference is that it barely counts towards my degree...

I have no idea what my fall courses are, because I can't register for them yet. I'm also waiting on my transfer application to Minnesota to go through...

But if I have to stay here, though, this is what I'm planning to take
- Public Economics (This is assuming there even is a class. This is my main interest in Economics )
- Math 281 (Multivariable Calculus I.)
- Intro to Econometrics I (I had to drop this last time, because the grad student who ran the lab section/graded homework was a complete idiot)
- There's a lot of stuff I could throw in here. I'm "supposed" to take a statistics class as a prerequisite for Intro to Econometrics, but last time I was doing fine without it. There are also some more 400-level Econ electives that I could take. My other choice would be to finish my last Gen Ed requirement, which I would fill in with a class on Existentialism.

How do you have time to sleep?? Even moreso, how did you get into a graduate-level course??

Sleep is for slackers. That's actually lighter than my current (spring semester) schedule. I got into a grad-level course by not having any 400-level or lower math classes left to take.

Well, I'm not in university yet, but I'll post what I'm taking next year anyways.

Grade 11 math again (I was disappointed with myself for taking college and I think I might need academic in order to get into business if I want to do that)
Two different business courses, both grade 11
Grade 12 English
A family psychology course (grade 12)
Grade 11 Art

Again, I'll have a semester where I have more courses that I should have taken the year before then my current grade.

Elementary Russian (10:00-11:00)

Intermediate Japanese (2:00-3:00)

Equality, Development and Peace (3:40-5:00)

Visual Language: Drawing (6:00-8:00)


Taking a light load this semester.
