I was sooooo worried about it. My scores:

Verbal: 600
Quantitative: 680

As the combined score minimum for the college I want to apply to for grad school is only 900, I'm pretty happy with the results.

((I refuse to answer any questions as to what the gre is. Go here: www.gre.org or don't ask/ask someone who is willing to answer/ask me and get no response (I know someone will, likely the first poster.)))

I just wanted to ruin your prediction. I know what it is.

Congratulations! That's awesome...

Congrats! :D

I should probably take those at some point but I have no idea if I want to go to grad school or what I would study if I went... I want to get a job for a while first

Wait, aren't you still a freshman? 8O

I need to take it, but I have been eating all the wrong foods. Now I have the stress of starting a semester later than I wanted. Congratulations on your score.

Serissa, when are you slated to take the Psych GREs? Or do you have to for your grad school?

I'm planning my GREs in Spring of 2008. (A long ways away, but two years to study :D .)

I'm also going to be doing my second internship this summer. The more experience, the better my transcript will look.

I don't have to for my grad school, just the general.

Does anyone know if this test is widely taken in the UK?

Don't really know. My guess would be the UK doesn't have students take the GREs exactly but they may perhaps require something similar. Different UK version test, I mean.

But that's just a guess.

Very, very impressive scores, and of course, I'm not surprised. Do you mind telling us what degree you're going for?

I'm in the process of applying to grad school also (in nursing), and fortunately it doesn't require that I take the GRE! Woo hoo - cuz I know I'd do really poorly on the math part.
