it's been said that aspies often have near encyclopedic knowledge of a topic that interests them whether it's antique cars, military aircraft, porn stars from the 1970's, dinosaurs...

I'm not saying all aspies have this but a lot of them I've met do.

What's yours?

Mine are:

Scale modeling (sci-fi in general)
movies (eg, who's been in them and what else they've been in, IDing the actor or the movie line)
music (who sang what song and IDing the lyrics)
and anything Star Trek.

Quantum Physics/Mechanics/Theory

Some of my most intense interests fall within these broad areas of expertise

Physics
Astronomy
Star Trek
Catweazle
Genealogy
Psychology
Art
Autism

And there are other, much narrower, areas of expertise (e.g., writing complaints letters :) ).
