How about a GLBTQ forum (gay, lesbian, bisexual, ...)

Dang, small town redneck's gotta agree with sinsboldly one more time.

I imagine gender/orientation alternative people have a really rough time of it when they're young and trying to sort things out. Being aspie/autistic definitely wouldn't make things easier.

Looking at my own gender identity and orientation, I'm convinced these things are innate and not a matter of choice.

I don't know, but I imagine finances and technology limit the number of forums wrongplanet can spin out.

Still I wonder if there's anything we can do to help these people out.

if there is one it should include Asexual as well this is common in AS.

I was also wondering why it should be just one section.

I mean GLBTQ threads can be in Love and Dating, can be in Social Skills and Making Friends, Getting To Know You, Work and finding a Job just anywhere you would find people you would also find GLBTQ folks.

My suggetion: Since one of the rules of WP is no homophobia, then there is no reason for GLBTQ to be restricted to ONE section, but actually blended into the comunity.

I know this is a radical idea, but why not?

News and Politics, how it affects one spirituality - it fits everywhere... good ol' literal me hit the latter half of the word and steered right to the Adult forum.

not a problem, we are all stretching our assumptions towards inclusion. I just could not see a whole group huddled in one section like smokers cast out into their little section in front of a building, somwhere.

I wish people would drop that suffix "phobia" and treat it the same as any other prejudice.

The term "heterosupremacists" might work, but they'd probably be afraid to wear bedsheets.
