Perfection does not exist because not everyone sees perfection as the same.

That's a stupid saying, and repeating it will just make you stupid. Being imperfect doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you. Everybody is imperfect--that's the nature of being alive. Believing that you are perfect in spite of being told that there's something wrong with you, is just a fantasy. What's the point of rejecting one illusion and replacing it with another?

You sound very angry.

Wanting people to have perfection is a way to make people work harder, it's all about the money.

A school teacher once told me, 'I'm always right, i'm perfect'. I wasn't sure if she was joking or seriously deluded.

Everything is an illusion generated by our brains. With that in mind, why not pick the illusion that makes you happiest or that allows you to better further your goals?

I'm not angry, but I've become used to having an opinion that's based on fact rather than wishful thinking interpreted (and dismissed) as anger. If I was angry, what difference would that make? The statement is either true or it isn't.

You sound very defensive. (Just to turn things around.)

That's the problem with forums, nobody can hear your tone. It probably happens to NT's as much as Aspie's. :coffee:

I do? I'm not. I just didn't take the original quote all the seriously - it was nice. You seemed to take it very seriously.
