If I were human, my reply would be "Hell no"... IF I were human. :|

I never watch movies on their opening days, especially not the highly anticipated ones. I hate the struggle to find a parking space and getting past the crowds.

Me too. :( But I think I can make an exception for Star Trek. Although I may go on Saturday morning...

I can't go opening day, I have to work. I'm probably going to go sometime soon after that, though.

Probably not on opening day, no. But I'd be more inclined to see this than say..Transformers - its marketing is doing nothing for me.

I've been known to see movies I have much anticipated on the opening day. I won't be doing so with this one. The fact that we have no babysitter is only a small part of the reason. The gales of laughter that sweep over me every time I see the trailer constitute another. And the sight of Spock and Kirk's dead serious mugs plastered all over cereal displays at the grocery store just kinda brings it all home. Some sort of CORN cereal, I'm sure.

I suppose it might be a good movie. I just can't take it seriously. What's more, I find it absurd that it was even made seriously. Scotty looks pretty cool, though.

I saw it today. It was ok; I don't know what all of the hype was/is about, really. It was worth seeing and all for a Star Trek geek like me.

Transformers 2 looks like it's going to be way better; I liked the trailer (I didn't know it was coming out so soon...). :)

I'm seeing it with my dad on Saturday, sadly we didn't get an IMAX screening here.

I'm no Trekkie, but I have been interested in seeing it ever since I heard a new movie was coming out. Hopefully I'll be able to see it this Saturday.
