I'm beginning to see why my house was such a great deal

Since I moved in 5 years ago, there are CONSTANT helicopter flyovers. Why they have to choose this area to go over in their flight path is beyond me. Could they just shift it about two miles over? I am not just talking about civilian helicopters. No I am talking about Apaches, Cobras, Chinooks, Hueys, Blackhawks, etc... Sometimes they fly so low it makes it feel like we are having an earthquake. Try sleeping when 5 or 6 Chinooks go flying over at tree top level...

I feel your pain Scott. We are 3 miles from a civil airport that train pilots of helicopters and blimps. Also 1/2 mile from a section of freeway that attracts nasty, tv-chopper-worthy accidents. Yesterday 3 helicopters hovered for a couple of hours because a bear was seen in a local park. I can't even imagine the low-flying military type--no amount of soundproofing is likely to remedy this harassment.
