No, us women quite appreciate it when you say that. Cause you are being considerate, and not taking any notice of what we say while its our time of the month.
Not really...
if I were talking about an emotional problem and someone blindly associted it with "time of the month" I wouldn't feel that way. Not everyone is "out of control" or "irrational", either during those times.

This basically.
I think we should just be treated with a bit more understanding perhaps.
I mean, seriously, there's blood pouring out of our vag's during that time. I really don't see how you can be expected to be miss sunshine keeping that in mind.
Apart from that some women are in actual pain because of cramps etc. and I do think they could be treated with a bit more TLC as well. It's quite easy to say someone's overreacting, and for some it may be true, but others do have a genuine horrible time during their period.
I don't really have a problem with mood though.
Perhaps I'll cry in my room the day before, and eat a bit more sweet stuff for a day, two weeks before...
but other than that I don't change at all.
If I'd be ignored just because of the fact that I'm on my period, I'd feel as if we'd have taken a big step back to the middle ages again.
This is something I will never personally experience, and yet I still worry about it. I don't want people blaming PMS on my legitimatly bad moods, and this does happen to people whether or not they are on their period.
Second, women shouldn't be ignored because they are on their period, but should be respected equally or more so then when they are not.
Tip of the day: Ladies watch your boyfriends closely. Men have their own cycle, and I believe the timeing is similar to a female cycle, not sure though as there are no discreet indicators of it. Point is, if you watch your bf closely enough, you will be able to tell when he is more edgy before he will know. I know this from my own personal experience and observations of my male family and most importantly of myself. And if you really want to be anal about it, explain the whole male cycle to them, and then point it out when they are acting because of their cycle. Most people don't know about it simply because there is no physical sign of it, no bleeding or anything, so the only way to tell is to observe him for a while, and find patterns.
