I am always trying to work out what age your kiddies are when you say first grade etc. ! !

Its all different over here, so the grading is different.

Roughly what age would a child be in:

Kindergarden
First Grade
(can work it out from there!!).

We have preschool at age 3-5yrs. Then straight to school at 4yrs +

The AVERAGE age, for the US, is:

preschool(AKA nursery school): 3-4
Kindergarten: 5
first: 6
All remaining grades(just add 5 to the grade)
So you graduate highschool AROUND 18. many may be 17, and SOME might be 19.

I had so much trouble with this, i still don't get it and i've lived here since i was 19 (6 years now)

Adding 5 years to the grade helps though!
