Just as some clarification:
- This book would be online only at this point.
- It would be 100% free, which is why I am afraid I cannot offer any compensation over your statements. |

I'm seeking to be a better advocate through writing. I'm well tired of puzzle pieces, person-first and "miracle cures". I think it's high time we bridge the dichotomy between NTs and Spectrum folk. The first book I want to write is "I Wish You Knew" or perhaps I will come up with a better title :). ... |

(this post may be triggering for depressed individuals) I really don't know if I can do this anymore. I have no stamina or motivation. I don't know if I can't sleep or won't sleep. I talk too much, I'm an annoyance and a burden. I can't get motivated to do anything-it's infuriating because I FINALLY... |

It's not your fault- she may well have had the episode either way. Psychosis is very unpredictable, really all illness, physical or mental, is. It was going to come back anyway-worst case scenario you may have made it come a few weeks earlier than it would have. |

I'm hyperlexic and didn't realize that most people only begin thinking in full sentences around age 7 or 8. When I first heard that, I literally thought "That's BS! I know for sure I was thinking in full sentences by my first birthday!" I also didn't realize I read faster than everyone else, I just ... |

Yes, over various factors really. I'm embarrassed about my social awkwardness. I am embarrassed I tend to say the wrong thing and that people think I'm a weirdo. I basically come off as a socially ret*d freak half the time. I'm also embarrassed that I technically, okay not just technically, have bra... |

I'm ADD and NVLD co-morbid. It's quite common with NVLD. NVLD is rather similar to Aspergers so I'm not sure if the comorbidity rates are the same for Aspies or not. |

An 18 year old with autism, Andre McCollins, was strapped down and tortured with electric shocks for 7 HOURS at a Massachusetts "school" for special needs kids. Why was he treated so? He wouldn't take off his jacket. Seriously. He has permanent brain damage. Words cannot describe how disgusted I am.... |
