One late night a few weeks ago, I was playing F-Zero X on N64, and suddenly had an idea for a new racing game. It would be faster than F-Zero. Faster than Ballistic. Faster than 5 times the speed of sound. It would be called JET, and it would be the first racing game in history to reach hypersonic v...

Don't know if you mean "finding", or whether you actually mean "creating/simulating". I checked out the side (haven't taken the plunge of actually downloading it yet, might eventually do that). But it seems to be more about simulating travel to known objects than it is about all...

It's a free, open-source program which generates scientifically acurate star, planets, and galaxies, and also displays known space objects. It's really cool, I suggest you check it out.

Here are the requirements: barometric pressure between 0.5 and 3 bar. At least 0.07 bars of oxygen. Under 10 ppm of SO2. Parent star between 0.8 and 1.3 Solar masses. Surface gravity less than 1.8G. Temperature between -75 and 115 Fahrenheit. Non-tidally locked. The low SO2 is the hardest part to fi...

I can't come up with $115,000 a year, but maybe we could contact Squad about making a feature film. Who knows, if we could write a script good enough, we might be able to get an indie filmmaking company to produce it. Kind of an unrealistic wish, but hey, it could happen.

Could it?

Even possibly?

I am planning on making a Kerbal Space Program movie, but I can't use in game footage because with all the graphics enhancement mods, even my lightning-fast gaming PC lags like crazy. I have no experience with 3d animation software, and can't figure out how to rip game assets for animation. I'm look...

Come on! EVERYTIME I fly, people are always complaining! What they fail to realize is that, while they try to get their head out of the folds of their fat neighbor's neck, they're traveling at 600 miles an hour, seven miles above the ground! I find the fact that we can put tens of thousands of peopl...

Once, I stuck an external command seat on a solid rocket booster. Of course, the drag was now off center. It didn't end well. :skull:

I once built a rocket from the bottom up. Of course, autostaging makes the first first parts you place activate last, so the last stage would activate first. I forgot to restage the rocket, so when I launched it, the second stage fired directly into the first stage, and the whole rocket blew up. It ...

Well, I for one would kinda be a bit bored. I mean, the view's great, but even an Aspie gets bored if he stares out the window long enough. :hmph: I would rather actually GO somewhere in space, like Mars. It would be a bit more interesting if you weren't confined to a tin can falling at 17,000 miles...
