I was wondering if anyone else has a special snack or food for when your having a bad day? For example i like fizzy and bubbly drinks so i keep apple cider on hand for when i need something calming and happy.

I cant stand anything mushy, sauces, or things that squirt when you bite them like tomatoes. But i love bubbly things or carbonated which causes the problem of only wanting to drink soda since i love the feeling.

Anytime someone says "Half past" or "a quarter past" ect. when talking about time, I cant read clocks that aren't digital so when people or teachers get upset when i ask what time it is makes me upset.

Has anyone ever been told before or after they were diagnosed that they couldn't have autism because of some random or obscure reason? For example I've been told I cant have autism because I dress "well enough"? As well as being told having anxiety doesn't mean I'm autistic. Please let me ...

The sound of glasses or silverware clinking together hurts my ears so much, I just let my mom handle washing them. The feeling of dryer sheets/fabric softeners and wet fabric of any kind. The shiny pages in newspapers or books drive me insane they feel and smell horrible.

I live in an area that isn't very excepting when it comes to "acting out" or looking different, so I've had random strangers approach me and forcefully stop my stimming multiple times. When I don't stim I get twitchy and anxious so it defiantly makes my anxiety worse.

When i was younger, around 5-9 years old my best friend was the shower curtain in my bathroom. I'd talk to it, tell it about my day, and so on. I can't remember really doing this with any other objects other than stuffed animals and was wondering if anyone else had furniture or objects as friends.
