It's not some sort of glorious thing like that. Sometimes I'd like to go places but I can't. At least you can go to the beach. I'm about 5 miles away I could take a cab or paratransit bus right? No, because I need supervision and protection. Sounds terrible to me. I prefer being on my own, so I wou...

I like an infinity pool next to the beach best.
Don't like chloride, so covered public pools are a big no go!
A tropical beach with clear blue water is nice, but I don't like the sand to go everywhere, so I prefer the hotel swimming pool with beach view.

I masked everything all my life, without even knowing it! And yes, it was exhausting and let to a severe burn-out. I'm on sick leave since and a few months ago I've got diagnosed with Asperger. My shrink's place is the only place where I can speak maskfree and that is such a relieve! Don't feel tire...

Not a good idea. Money and friends don't mix. You probably won't see your money again and lose your friend anyway, because she will keep asking for more.

I'm from Western Europe and it's really over crowded out here, so I feel so much freedom when roadtripping in North America or Australia. It's such a blessing to find wide open space and so much beautiful nature overthere. And on the other hand it gives me a weird sense of comfort knowing there's al...

It was like finding the missing piece of the puzzle that explained every confusing issue in my life, so I was excited and frustrated for not finding it before. +1 For me the official label will have benefits in my country, so I'm happy to be officially diagnosed. I was diagnosed september this year...

In Dutch we say something similar like happy holidays because we include newyearseve in the holidays. The closest translation of our saying (prettige feestdagen) means something like happy festive days, I think that's an efficient way to wish everybody fun around their days off to celebrate whatever...

I rhink a lot of aspies are better of living alone in solitude. Parents shouldn't make a big deal of them getting any relationships. It's like trying to force a gay to be straight.

And I really can't stand people who force their kids on you! I agree. Though if I knew how to I would happily interact with them if I knew how to. Its something that I can't really explain to people who don't know that im autistic I didn't know that I was aspie till my 48th and I just told people m...
