It is possible to have "good enough" social skils. Most NTs recognize the need for experts, and if you are willing to share that expertise, they will gladly overlook the social faux pas you make. Not really.NT'S will always see the Aspie as socially inferior no matter much the Aspie tries... |

It's really not possible to have good social skills if you are part of the Autism spectrum. The biggest part of even being on the spectrum in the first place is struggling to sociailze. We can learn how not make as many mistakes overtime by reseach or experience, however we will never be good or even m... |

Not really. I'm not expecting society to understand something or care about a condition that they never experienced themselves. Outside of parents and those with the condition itself, people have little understanding of what Autism is and that's not expected to change since have no experience with Au... |

People calling us sociopaths is very flawed, however are we really surprised?People been calling us every horrible name that they can think of.People used to call Autistic people"ret*d,slow or psychotic " back in the days.People think we are bad people because they think we lack empathy(I a... |

Seem like Aspies, especially Aspie men tend to stay alone forever(tho some get into relationships at some point). As a person in mid 30s,I had no luck at all getting a girl to date me.Now with that said, due to the coronavirus situation, finding a date is not my top priority, however I know once the Cor... |

I experience both.My Social Awkwardness has led to no one accepting me and has prevented me from even finding dates, which created social anxiety.Due to my Social Anxiety,I have pretty much stopped bothering even trying to initiate conversations with other people within the last couple of years. |

My Asperger Syndrome is relatively mild,so I don't really feel the need to hide my condition. I do suffer from Social anxiety,so I mostly stay quiet, and separate myself from most social situations. The only way anyone I have Asperger is if I tell them(which I don't tell anyone besides my parents). |

My question is why don't just you stay single and be alone if that's what you enjoy so much?No one is forcing you to h... |

Personally I find it only sightly easier to make friends with people on the Spectrum than with allistic folks. With that said tho,you may be able to find a common ground with someone in the Adult ASD Support Group since yall share the same disability. |
