I am saying that it is not a defect, disorder, or deficiency. We may never really know that much about it, but I am saying that it is a lived experience. Like Nadesan, I say that it is largely socially constructed and socially reinforced.

And Fnord, the conspiracy is the world wide eugenics movement, starting in the 19th Century, but it is the later Nazi version which holds the hearts and minds of so many Americans.

But if we just close down the doctor's office, then the problem is solved. Assessments that are not done cannot be misused. And if it were not for the Nazi Eugenics Movement, this area never could have been explored this way. https://www.amazon.com/Constructing-Autism-Unravelling-Understanding-Socia...

You cite books written by someone who relies on subjective opinions, personal anecdotes, and "spiritual enlightenment" -- all tools of false practitioners and con-artists. Your assertions are fraudulent. You have no background in any behavioral science. You seem to believe that by repeati...

It seems that the main tension between the parent and the child is in what Alice Miller has called the Narcissistic Wound. What it amounts to is that the parent refuses to mirror the child's facial expressions, and expects the child to mirror their own. Why they are like this, well it gets to the wo...

Well what good is accomplished by labeling people? People have a broad range of temperaments. Many people support and agree with what Frances Tustin did, and her approach is still the approach used in Latin America. As it stands today there is not a single black and white assessment indicator for Au...

I am not denying the reality of Autism, I just see it as a lived experience, similar to the way Frances Tustin seemed to have seen it, as an effect, not a cause. I see it as a lived experience, mostly of having been bullied, abused, and persecuted. And I strongly identify with the writings of the au...

I am glad that you are reading. I disagree with what it says in "Neurotribes" and "In A Different Key", because both authors believe that this Neurological Difference is real. Autism-Asperger's is tied to a particular type of child abuse, that of the middle-class family, using ch...

As I see it, many people question the voracity of Autism-Aspergers. I have listed many books. And then as we now know that Hans Asperger sent at a minimum 5000 children to be euthanized, but then was able to evade justice, I believe that more people will be coming forward, people who before would ha...

Autism is a lived experience, mostly of being bullied, abused, and persecuted, just for being who you are. And often the worst of the abusers are the parents, though usually aided by White Coats. And I identify with the life experiences written about by the autism advocates such as John Elder Robiso...

But is the Autism-Asperger's-Neurological Difference label actually help, or is just making a new problem which need not be. And then if we endorse the concept, what about what will continue to happen to children still in the care of their parents?

I vote yes, but I say that this is only usually true. I don't talk about Autism-Asperger's-Neurological Difference, because when we do that we are only marginalizing ourselves, and encouraging child abuse. I talk about Shamanic Experience, and the key is mystical tendencies. And in our society, as o...

Do you want more children to be driven to the doctor so that they can be assessed as having Autism, Asperger's, Neurological Difference?

fnord, not everyone agrees with you, or agrees that Autism is real, beyond a lived experience of being persecuted. Every time you or I endorse the concepts of Autism, Asperger's, or Neurological Difference, we are further marginalizing ourselves, and we are encouraging child abuse. Right now as you are reading this, there are parents driving their child to the doctor, simply because they find the child to be an ...

YES?

And if you don't mind my asking, why, and what would you hope to gain? And would you be concerned that the course might be promoting the idea of Autism-Aspergers, and defect, deficiency, disorder, and neurological difference?
