This article shows us -- the fact that it even got printed -- that Democrats will protect their billionaire donors. What I meant is: businesses can do well without there being a benefit to society (as is the case right now. It would have been great to have bought stocks - even right before the 2009 crash! You'd still have made a profit. But society ain't doing so well) So: businesses doing well or not that well ...

If we can't agree that businesses doing well is good for society as a whole than we're never going to see eye to eye on anything. Businesses can do well while society is in entirely awful state. "Businesses doing well" is so vague - since 2008, businesses have taken cheap credit meant to ...

Jurors get dismissed for all kinds of reasons, as both legal teams try to get the jury they think is most favorable to their case. Do you happen to have a high-level of education. Most who do get dismissed.

Yeah I have respect for experience. While some aspects of corporate leadership may transfer to government work, in general I think people who have been working in government throughout their life are more likely to be effective. Leadership skills in running a company in the private sector driven en...

You ask me to show you a billionaire that didn't use aggressive business tactics. I ask you to show me a person who is better off without a job than with one. Good business is good for people. If we can't agree that businesses doing well is good for society as a whole than we're never going to see ...

Does it say anything about the amazon warehouse workers peeing in bottles next to the bodies of co-workers who just had a heart-attack? No? I don't have anything against billionaires, but show me one that got there without subjecting his employees or subcontractors to inhumane conditions, if not mo...

Whenever I see: "How come people complain about x, but not y" it's invariably because people only hear the complaints about x and not the complaints about y. Now it's often true these complaints are not usually balanced, but plenty of people complain about James Bond as a character, just l...

This is a complex question that has a lot of of potential answers. As in complex questions it is usually a mix of things. I happen to subscribe to the moral psychology framework proposed by Johnathan Haidt. Johnathan Haidt a moral psychologists proposes a six factor model for why people value certai...

There's no point of having elections then. Elected officials can still steer top-down direction. The deep state needs to be removed. It's a cancer that is loyal to the arms industry and foreign state's money and interests, working against the interests of America and Americans. The us federal gover...
