First off, I am twice diagnosed ASD and ADHD . But in the past I was diagnosed with dysthymia , a major depressive disorder, in my early 20s. I decided to bold all my diagnoses, its important later. Anyways, schizo disorders were first suggested to me with the dysthymia diagnosis due to my sleep iss...

I don't want to talk about the why or the backstory. Fun fact about both jail in the asylum. In the asylum, the patients would all say that jail was worse. In jail, they feared the asylum more. I preferred the asylum over jail. The food was better, but admittedly sleeping the asylum was... well I'm ...

That sounds very difficult but what does it mean to be in a codependent relationship with your wife? What does it mean to you?

Well I've been going through counseling. Basically I didn't believe I deserved better.

I'm moving on, its better now.

So I am diagnosed autistic and adhd. I have been married for nearly 11 years. Knew her for nearly 20 years total. I don't know what to say about this or what to do with this post beyond just stating it. I am in a bipolar codependent relationship with my wife. She is very controlling. Its so bad that...

Ok, bear with me on this. I decided not to write that much. So, I have to choose what I say carefully. You know how most people lie or exaggerate? I don't. In fact, I understate things. For example, I never introduce myself as "Dr." despite having a PhD. I don't even really consider myself...

I can't explain this quickly. It will sound insane. I was "Baker Act'd" in Florida (its a Florida specific law). I never threatened harm or suicide. From the asylum, I made the mistake of calling the police officer that did it and asked him why he did it. He said I consented and I did not...

My brothers saw the news and won't talk to me, same with my dad. I'm sorry to hear that your brothers and dad are jumping to conclusions based on news reports. To everyone: When you see news reports about people who aren't already major public figures, NEVER assume that the reports are accurate. Th...

I won't go into it. I have a lot of kids with my wife. Its over 5. I won't say the number. Anyways, I have a career that makes about 175k plus health benefits (US). Again, I won't go into the details. But she had me committed to an asylum one week and we got arrested the next. She was calling police...

I hate Trump too... I believe that a leader should be more professional, responsible and honest. Well, Americans made their choice, and they will take the consequence. That would be true if the consequence only affected those of us who made that choice. Americans don't seem to understand that their...

It's someone else's turn, you must accept that. It's been your turn for the last 4 years, with disastrous results. The economy is in the dumps. People can barely afford housing and food now. It was someone else's turn before yours and it will be your turn again when your candidate wins. Anymore, th...

I doubt MAGA will be able to repeal Obamacare this time, but just be aware that it was Obamacare that required autism mental health services to be covered. If it gets repealed, you are going to see a lot of Autism parenting groups flip out and act shocked. Trump has an autistic son, so I don't see ...

One day about two years ago they decided to protest a local ban on drag queen story hour at the local public library. They posted about it on their FB group and I commented "please don't do this, this does not drive turnout to our side." I'm a bit surprised to hear about a local Democrati...

We made it through two World Wars. We made it through the Cold War. We made it through Watergate. We made it through Iran-Contra. We made it through Monica Lewinsky. We made it through 9/11. We made it through Trump 1.0. We made it through Biden's dementia. We'll make it through this, too. Ah yes, ...
