Why do non-aspies do that? Why do men flirt like crazy or act as though they're interested when they know that they won't ever see you again after the two weeks (in my case). What's the point? I just don't understand if they don't plan on keeping in touch?

I've been on an online dating site for a few years - seems that most men are keen to arrange the meet up for the first time. However, I have met several men who end each date with "call me" or "email me" and I feel as though I have to arrange all of the rest of the dates. If it wasn't for me keeping...

:?: I just went on an organised tour in Russia. I met a nice man (who had a girlfriend who was on another organised tour in another country). I developed a bit of a crush on him and I didn't make any moves on him because he had someone. He didn't seem like a player and didn't flirt at all with me. H...

Okay - I'm sure that you're like most other people and keep hearing over and over again, the right one will come. How long does it take?? I feel so sad because everyone in my family is married with kids and I'm the only single one. I do keep myself busy with groups and school but I still feel as tho...

I left England when I was a kid (7). My younger sister has completely lost her accent and you would never guess that she was born there. Me on the other hand have a slight accent and I do pronounce some words with a northern english accent. Friends of my sisters and my friends question why I still h...

Thank you all for your feedback - there's definitely a mixture of thoughts. My boss is an Australian and I work with engineers/construction individuals. I really do not know if he is kissing other ladies on the cheek when I'm not around him. He doesn't hug/kiss me on a daily basis but that's only be...

Can someone explain my boss's behaviour. We get along really well so there is no tension between the two of us. He's very supportive of my career and pushing me to move either laterally or up in the ladder. However, I have discovered that he's a touchy individual at times. I have seen him hug the od...

Hey all - I'm sure that I'm making this bigger than it is but I need your help! I have a supervisor who is great and supportive in regards to my career. He pushes me to be challenged at work, which is fantastic because it is never boring. I'm just a bit confused about his social behaviour. He gives ...

Yes, i feel very frustrated at my age (34). My frustrations stem from my lack of dating "experience". While all my friends have had numerous boyfriends, married or married with kids, I seem to be going backwards....

To hide my lack of experience, I throw myself into my career and my travels.

I never know what the heck to do when I like people. I just sort of prefer the feeling of "liking" a guy but I really have a hell of a time moving past that point. It's even harder for me when I find that they like me more than a friend because I panic. I withdraw very quickly and completely disappe...

It seems that i have always been single and will remain single for the rest of my life. I bounce between very much wanting to be like everyone else and connecting with someone special. My sister and brother are both married. I'm no where close to that. I've tried this online dating thing but I don't...

I think that my parents were in denial, especially my Dad. I got the feeling that they didn't think that I would struggle through life and that I was fine. Little did they know what I was going through on a daily basis.... I know that we all compare ourselves to our siblings but when you're nothing ...

I was recently told by my parents that I was diagnosed with AS as a child. I'm very relieved that I have it to be honest. All of my life, I have felt very different in contrast to my younger sister and to my younger brother. They were always very good at making new friends and being sociable. I, on ...

This topic is interesting because I have always wondered why I still have a bit of a British accent. People accuse me of doing it in on purpose to get attention, etc. My younger sister and brother do not have a British accent. They don't understand how I can still remember how to talk with the accen...
