I think what makes it extra tough, is I think with ASD, the four letters I can think of the most is YMMV... There are like similar... things, or patterns that can be extrapolated in a general sense to most ND people imo, but I question all the time if my emotions, sensations, are something that ever...

One of my biggest special interests are substances, chemicals, and especially psychoactive drugs. One of my favorite hobbies as a teenager were things like extractions, such as DMT from MHRB, making poppy straw concentrate, datura extracts for fun (never dosed it though, that's going too far for me....

When you say you're targeted by strangers on the street, I would suggest you take inventory of why you feel this is happening. What is the setting when this happens, for instance are these strangers intoxicated, such as leaving a bar/pub and start saying things with lowered inhibitions? Well it isn...

So now, after years of experience and maturing and knowing how to hold myself and looking as normal as I can, I really don't expect to be targeted and mocked in public, as I'm no longer that weak pathetic little 11-year-old who was scared of everything. So if I am being targeted by random strangers...

The online groups at AANE.org are worth looking into if you're looking for an online support group. Yeah, I'm down for anything and will check it out, but I tend to like in-person meetings, different entire vibe. I'm kinda all set really, but I'm thinking of how others can not only get help, but al...

I can't stress enough the improvements I have made since joining them, even just for the sense of community. I do not use ASD focused support groups though, instead I use ones for substances, especially NA, since there is a huge amount of infrastructure behind them, they do things like throw events/...

My favorite thing about NIN is definitely the quake 1 soundtrack, I was obsessed with quake as a kid. Same thing with American McGee's Alice, it was my favorite game for a time when it came out. I think the drummer for NIN did that score, Chris. I have the soundtrack too, but never played the game....

THC unfortunately for me tends to increase my anxiety most of the time, and hurts my motivation to go out and get stuff done, I want to just hide in my room when that happens. If I'm blazing with friends in a really good atmosphere, or at least in a really good mood, it's usually better. Could be mo...

Nah dude I don't think it was. I like being forward anyway, cuts through the drivel… within reason of course. :)

Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here; I know I do. Yeah man, looks chill. Hopefully it can be a two-way street with me, mutual support and recovery. You have a good chance of finding others here that have gone through troubles comparable to the ones you face...but don't necessarily expect a reply...

Don't even get me started, I've hit up NA meetings before, and almost everyone there is ND, ADHD is pretty ubiquitous. ASD and AUDHD (like myself) are rarer, but they're certainly present. A lot of people I know from there, constantly have children with either ASD, and/or ADHD. It's crazy.
