People can always just shrug their shoulders and move on instead of letting themselves get all bothered what a few faceless strangers on the internet think about everything. It would be a special sort of hell to be forced to go through life giving a crap what everybody thinks, especially with asperg...

Art can't please everyone. There will be those that just don't "get it". Anyway, I really like the top one. Watercolor yes? I think he is jealous that some people can actually draw and others can only randomly generate fractals on their computer. Metal skulls? Wtf? Thanks! It is Dr. Martin Inks and...

those 2 pictures are identical to each other. they are simple and not very artistic in my opinion. they are very small, and the best idea i can think of what they are is metal skulls facing to the right. i can not understand how anyone can appreciate those 2 pictures. you obviously see something in...

Wow, a lot of my favorite bands have been mentioned in this thread. I love EBM/Aggrotech... and I think it's because it is repetitive. I just can't handle screechy guitar music, it drives me batsh*t insane.

Just watched the episode. "Meh." is my response. Didn't feel anything either way...especially when you consider they have a child actor trying to portray his interpretation of someone with AS. Don't care for the show in particular anyhow. Yeah, it sucks when shows like this get a second season whil...

Jesus tapdancing Christ on a pogo stick. Screening embryos for Down syndrome, etc. is completely OPTIONAL. When people advocate screening embryos for autism, they are saying it should be an option. Seeing as I have been around people with LFA, I can completely understand why a parent would choose t...

Meh, I don't think giving publicity to autism speaks is really going to affect the quality of the TV show. The actors haven't changed. I don't agree with autism speaks' methods but I'm not stopping anyone from joining them. It's up to them isn't it, we can't keep throwing tantrums everytime someone...

Okay, not only are you invoking the slippery slope fallacy, you also Godwinned the discussion. Supporting prenatal screening does not equal eugenics. Eugenics for autism would be sterilizing anybody with autism or anybody who had an autistic kid. Also, I have been around lower-functioning autistic ...

I don't want to hijack the thread, but is that really all? I'm sure there are many (including myself) who would give just about anything for a cure. You're right, that is hijacking this thread, but the "cure" they are looking for is prenatal early detection, meaning they want to "cure" autism by eu...
