For me internet writing of any sort seems to not count and so when I can't sit down and work on my novel I have no problem posting foolishness on Facebook (though forums like this one intimidate me.) | SSDI requires you to have worked. You may have been denied because you didn't work long enough, in which case SSI would be your fall-back option. | My new therapist seems to think that aspies are unable to have jobs, they should all apply for government disability benefits, that I shouldn't even dream of looking for work right now....
