I used to think that I'd never have the skills or experience to flirt, but lately after a few dates I'm starting to get the hang of it. There's this girl I'm talking to online. I don't think it'll ever develop into a relationship because she's too far away and... well its complicated. But anyways, s...

I hope that most of you who own a Blu-ray player have it for the PS3 because once new firmwares come out your old blu-ray players will be rendered obsolete.

Sony won, and early adopters for both sides got screwed.

If that person wants to go out with you, she'll make time on her schedule, even if it is a little packed. I'm sorry, but I think the reason why she keeps coming up with excuses is that she doesn't want to hurt your feelings.

The title of your writing did indicate an appeal to others to rally support. Touche'. I'll admit it had a little to do with that. Well if you had such a nice conversation why would you say, "I guess I thought some of the people on this forum had a different mentality when it comes to honest communi...

I lost my virginity to the wrong person. :(

Sometimes I still wish I were, but oh well, life goes on.

I don't follow what your complaint is. I do but I don't. Is it: I initiated conversation with a stranger who was cute and because she lived near me. When I got around to asking her out, she said no. Except for the fact that we exchanged a few more emails and talked over IM, bingo. Or: I was browsin...

When did saying someone is 'cute' equate to all the rubbish that's being spewed out here? There's nothing wrong with saying that, and personally I thought it was a nice way to break the ice. Note for the idiots who are bashing me: it worked. Why the hell do some people even need to be snarky and sar...

I was browsing through this forum after I had posted a topic and noticed that a certain (cute) girl lives near me. I sent her a message telling her she was cute and that I lived nearby too. To my surprise, she replied with a very friendly email. We talked a little over IM and I asked her later if sh...

That statistic about 43% of the girls being 'gamers'? That probably mostly applies to cel-phone games like Be-jeweled. Girls still struggle at 'real' games like Half-Life 2 or Super Mario Galaxy. I'm not saying why, but the ones I've dated and hung out with only play Lego Star Wars because its easy...

Physical attraction is the difference between friendship and romance. I agree. I've dated and been best friends with two girls. There was nothing special in the way either of them handled me. No other 'level' of intimacy, except maybe when it came to physical contact that I experienced with my girl...

I'm pretty introverted and I prefer to do things that don't involve interacting with a lot of people, like playing video games or going on a walk. I can be pretty conversational when there's a small group of people, but anymore beyond that and I have trouble taking in what's going on. That being sai...

One way or another, you need to learn how to socialize and make friends. Don't rely on online dating because having done so for a year, I've had extremely mixed results. Plus some of the girls on there are just flat out flaky or not sane. Hanging out with your friends will help you take your mind of...

Actually, I think it pretty much has more to do with her phobia of getting into a relationship. She already has social phobia, so I would not have been surprised to see it extended to being afraid of entering a relationship. I don't think she thinks of herself as a slut, because she is kind of a hip...

My first major relationship ended today. It had been technically over for about a month when we had a 'falling out'. But she came up to my door to return something, and wouldn't even stay to talk to me. I saw behind her a car of problably some other guy she was seeing as she turned around without as...

Wow, how many times has any unlucky aspie heard of this out of a woman's mouth when you said you like her? I just go through a phone call today with a girl whom I thought has been the first in awhile to actually send out strong signals of affection for me to pick up on. First, we started talking to ...
