"Side Effects." Steven Soderbergh's most recent film, which stars Rooney Mara as a woman who kills her husband while sleepwalking as a side effect of her prescribed antidepressant, and Jude Law as her psychiatrist who is criticized for prescribing her this drug, but he is suspicious that the case mi...

I'd rather not find out. I usually try to limit myself to 4.

Where did you go on your last trip/vacation?

What's up all you guys? I just thought I would stop by and find out how stuff is going on this fabulous day. And it's almost Thursday again. I know last Thursday was only six days ago, but days go by so quickly. I'm going to go pass out for tonight, but as a famous Arnold said in a film, "I'll go ba...

"Cabin in Woods" is hysterical. One of my favorite films of 2012. I think one reason some people don't like it is because they were expecting something different like a straight up horror movie. The trailer made it seem like one but those of us who know Joss Whedon's work knew differently. And by th...

I just finished "Brick." It's a high school neo-noir film starring a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt and directed by Rian Johnson, director of last year's hit sci-fi "Looper." "Brick" is more of an art film than "Looper," and the dialogue comes at you very quickly so it can be hard to understand at times...

"Drag Me to Hell." Though I'm sure you could have guessed from the title. The heroine tries to get rid of the envelope containing the cursed button, but she got mixed up and gave away the wrong envelope. Then she gets dragged to hell. The film is pretty scary, but it has a very humorous tone to it, ...

Game of Thrones. I love how it unfolds like a game board and there are new places on the map every few weeks. Plus the theme song is awesome.

Loved this trailer, and I'm a big Whedon fan, so I'm pretty excited.

BRRRMMMMM! BRRRMMMMM!

Seriously though, that is one of my favorites. Some of my other favorite movie themes are "Requiem for a Dream" (haven't even seen it though), "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," and "Kill Bill" (even though it apparently was originally from a Japanese film).
