| Well, at the end of the day, it is your brain, not hers. If you and your counsellor agree that diagnosis is not necessary, then she is in no position to gainsay that. If she is engaging in withholding behaviours in order to manouever you into doing something that you do not want to do, then that be... |

| Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the monologue, so I'm grateful for anyone who takes their time to read this. I'm just wondering if anyone can provide me with any advice or any extra perspective that might prove useful to me. To set the scene, I told my best friend I had AS just over a year ago. I... |

| I think it depends on who you tell. One person may completely ignore everything you've said to them, and treat everything with apathy, or even go as far as to dismiss it completely, and say you're using it as an excuse for your behaviour instead of an explanation. Or, on the flip side, another perso... |

| Can't get enough of cuddles! Perfectly fine with handshakes too, and other stuff like that. However, not so good when I'm surrounded by hoards of people. I guess I feel vulnerable and threatened when in a large crowd. Also quickly move away when someone perhaps gets a little too invasive for my liki... |

| Yes, but it wasn't intentional.... they happened to be one of my closest mates whilst she was sleeping with someone in the same room... (I didn't intend on being/want to be there by the way lol) |

| I need some help and a bit of direction right now, I'm hoping I can get some here. Basically, I'm struggling to enjoy life. Up until about 18 months ago I was a perfectly happy, carefree person. But then I met loads of new people because I joined Sixth Form (for anyone unfamiliar, basically it's the... |

I wouldn't worry. I'm nearly 18 and in exactly the same situation. |

Perfect time for me to come in then - meltdowns/anger issues are definitely the worst for me. I've lost a hell of a lot with my friends because of my outbursts. I'm convinced that I've lost it all but some of my friends maintain that they are still there and they are still my friends. |

| Yep, I feel like this a lot. Sometimes I wonder if it's my own fault for not putting myself out there, or whether its the fault of my friends for just not including me. I've become more used to living a solitary life in recent months but to be honest I really don't like it and wish it wasn't that wa... |
