I posted in another topic that I might become the British kendama champion, followed by possibly losing my home. Well, I am now the Scottish kendama champion, and I do not think I am welcome here any more. I live with friends and work for food and accommodation (it's the only lifestyle I can handle)...

My secrets all revolve around the state of my brain. I've always tried to hide that I don't have a social life, have trouble doing mundane things, live in a fantasy world, have intense solitary interests, suffer from depression (which went away for a while but may be back again), etc. I'm trying to...

I haven't posted on here for a while. It's just like my journal: I write in it when I feel I need to. I'm glad both exist for this reason. For about five years now, I have lived only with other people in their house, or have been in the care of a company I've worked for. I've never really fended for...

1. Just had a run-in with some people and it wasn't my fault. They were mad at me anyway. It's just reminded me that despite some great gifts, it is the ordinary things that I simply cannot cope with.

I am 36 and do not have a license...... And I have no wish to ever get one..... Driving = terrifying.........for many different reasons. Mics. I agree entirely. I am 34 and I don't have mine. Apart from how scary other people are on the road, I just don't have the attention span for it. I'd forget ...

I got a year's visa and stayed for two and a half years. I wasn't deported; I just left. I was staying with different friends and doing volunteer work on their farms. There is the possibility that I will not be allowed to reenter Canada. I've tried making a go of it here. I barely survived returning...

I've been on the dole. It is inhumanly dispiriting. I know that I could apply for council housing, but really, really would rather die. I don't belong here and the idea of trying to integrate in such a way is absolutely mortifying. I can't look after myself and I don't even care. My family thinks I'...

The problem is I am FROM the UK; I first went to Canada in 2005 and fell in love with the place and the people I met. It was there I discovered I had Asperger's. Sorry, I should have explained that. I consider Canada to be my home because life almost started making sense there. I have virtually no c...

I am currently staying on a farm as a volunteer. The person I am staying with knows about my condition and it appears to have placed a terrible strain upon us both. A couple of days ago, my host stated that she thought I was "playing up the helpless man role". That is to say, she thinks I am pretend...

I call myself Elliott. I am 34 years old and have spent my entire life singe. I was sexually abused and bullied from the age of 7 to the age of 10. I was picked on and humiliated in high school because I am not scholastically-minded. I cannot have sex or even be kissed. I am almost completely incapa...

I hate the feeling of foam (the kind you get in couch cushions) on my fingernails. Babies screaming Car stereos (they always play that boom-chicka-boom crap) Television commercials I seem to be getting into a list of things that irk me as opposed to one of sensations I dislike. The babies screaming ...

I hope I haven't given people the wrong impression. I'm not likely to become homeless in the next few days, and even if I were I really can't stand the thought of trying to get my own place. I would never be able to pay bills, eat properly or generally look after myself. I can do a lot of things, bu...

I'm undaignosed and living in the UK. My GP said he would refer me, but there are no resources for obtaining diagnosis where I live. I think that soon I will be essentially homeless and I'm about to go off the rails anyway. Before I do, I'd like to get my diagnosis, but I simply lack the skills to g...

Is it possible for me to change my nickname on here? I've realised it might be too easy to find for people I know and don't want reading my blog.
If I can get another one (I know what I'd like) I'll settle for that. |
